Viewers were in hysterics on Friday morning, when a fashion segment on Lorraine featured a wonky-legged pair of jeans.

The asymmetrical trousers were derided as “hideous” and “grotesque,” by those watching at home, with even presenter Lorraine Kelly calling them “daft”.

Style expert Mark Heyes introduced the segment, claiming to have jeans for every shape and size – which apparently include some seriously odd proportions.

He told Lorraine, 59: “Not everybody’s going to be adoring it. One minute skinny jeans are in, the next wide-leg is in – so why not combine the two? That’s what I say.”

Mark brought out the model, wearing the odd jeans, as the host told him: “It’s a wee bit out there.”

The ITV morning show also tweeted about the fashion item, writing: “Can’t decided between a skinny and a wide-leg jean? Well now you don’t have to. How do you feel about these asymmetrical jeans? 🤔#Lorraine.”

Fans were in an uproar over the expensive fashion item, with one laughing: “The jeans 👖- Ok if you have one fatter leg – wonder if you can choose which leg 😂😂🤣 I’ll pass 🙄🙄 #lorraine.”

Others didn’t think it was a laughing matter, labelling the jeans: “Hideous” and, “Grotesque 🤮.”
