Leigh Francis’ alter-ego, Keith Lemon appeared on Lorraine today to speak about his new show, The Real Dirty Dancing.
However, some viewers were not happy to see the comedian on the show, with some branding him “unfunny”.
Keith Lemon on Lorraine today
Christine Lampard, who is hosting Lorraine in Lorraine Kelly‘s absence, welcomed Keith onto the show today.
Keith, 48-year-old Leigh Francis‘ alter-ego, was on to promote his new show, The Real Dirty Dancing.
The show, which he will host with Ashley Roberts, is set to give celebrities the opportunity to recreate iconic moments from equally as iconic Dirty Dancing movie.

The show will see the likes of James Argent, Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson and Anthea Turner appear in an attempt to become the ultimate Baby and Johnny.
“To coin a phrase, it was the time of my life,” Keith said of the show. “The weather was great, I was hanging out with Ashley every day, and we had ten celebrities learning all the dances from Dirty Dancing.”
He continued, saying: “If you like Dirty Dancing, I think you’ll love this.”
What else did Keith Lemon say on Lorraine today?
Keith then went on to say that he hopes he gets to do another series of the Dirty Dancing show in the future.
The conversation then moved on to the return of Celebrity Juice, which is back for its 26th series.
“I’m really excited, we’ve got an audience back – I think I’ll tear up,” he admitted.
“The audience is the other guests,” he explained. “It is, it’s a big, big part of what it is, it’ll be lovely to have that back,” Christine said.
Keith also briefly spoke about his other show – Shopping With Keith Lemon. He revealed that the first guests on that are going to be Dancing On Ice star Bez and his fellow Happy Mondays star, Shaun Ryder.
“That’s gonna be interesting,” he said.
What did viewers say?
Whilst Christine seemed to be finding Keith funny on the show today, many viewers weren’t. Some took to Twitter to voice their displeasure at seeing Keith Lemon on their screens.
“Leigh Francis aka Keith lemon most unfunny ‘comedian’ on the planet. How on earth does he blag it?” one viewer wrote.
“Keith Lemon isn’t even funny,” another said.

“Why is he still getting airtime?” a third mused.
“Ah Keith Lemon, as funny as an armpit,” another quipped.
Not everyone hated seeing Keith on their screens though.
“Keith Lemon is so chaotic,” one laughed.
