Lord Sugar slammed by viewers for making WORST decision in Apprentice history

At least it's got people talking!

There was one thing The Apprentice fans wanted to say to Lord Sugar after last night’s show – “You’re fired!”

Collective gasps could almost be heard around the country as the billionaire business mogul sent home hotly tipped Michaela Wain, putting James White and Sarah Lynn through to the final instead.

And following the tense episode, stunned viewers took to Twitter to slam the 70-year-old head honcho, describing Michaela’s axing as the “worst decision ever”.

Going into last night’s instalment, there were just five candidates remaining – Michaela, James and Sarah, along with Joanna Jarjue and Elizabeth McKenna.

And bright spark Michaela has had such a good series, we would almost have bet our house on her going through to the final task.

However, Lord Sugar gave everyone a big surprise when he gave the Lancashire lass the old heave-ho.

Explaining his decision, he told her: “The sensitivity that I have with you, Michaela, is that our business could start going a little bit downhill and you might lose interest because you’ve got interest in other businesses – it’s human nature.”

Well, if Michaela was disappointed, that was nothing compared to what fans at home were feeling – they were FURIOUS!

One tweeted: “Naaah sorry @bbcapprentice… @Michaelawain1 should have won. Not gonna bother watching now.”

Another spat: “That was the winner right there!!! Worst decision ever!!!”

And a third wrote: “Brilliant show last night… but this is a weak final. @Michaelawain1 was life and spark of the show.”

Even money-saving expert Martin Lewis had something to say about Michaela’s firing.

He tweeted: “I’m stunned at #bbcapprentice decision. From what we’ve seen, it’s either a business in a recruitment salesperson, or a derivative sweets business. My money would’ve clearly gone to Michaela.”

Michaela is a winner in another sense, however. The 33-year-old has revealed that appearing on The Apprentice has massively helped her anxiety.

She told The Sun: “I used to be worried about going places and doing things, but now, whenever I feel nervous, I remind myself that I’ve been grilled on The Apprentice and nothing is worse than that.

“Now my life is completely different. Not winning wasn’t a problem because I got what I wanted from the show.”
