Loose Women star Saira Khan reveals her husband used a spreadsheet to compare her to his ex

Literally speechless!

Loose Woman Saira Khan has revealed how her husband once used a spreadsheet to compare her to his ex-girlfriend – factoring in tick boxes for ‘kindness’, ‘attractiveness’ and ‘you know what’.

Seemingly unfazed by the less-than-romantic situation, Saira said: “This is no joke, and I wasn’t looking for it [the spreadsheet] but I was going out with my now-husband and he’d left to go to work, and I think I’d dropped an earring and I was looking under the bed and I pulled out this book.

And on it was a spreadsheet, and it had got me and his ex-girlfriends!”

She added, “On it it had things like ‘kindness’, ‘attractiveness’, ‘you know what’.”

Spotting an audience member laughing, Saira joked: “You’re laughing because you’re a man, and this is the kind of thing you do – compare women on spreadsheets!”

At this point, her co-star Janet Street-Porter chimed in, asking, “And how did you do?”

“I hadn’t got very many ticks, but I had the ticks where it mattered,” she replied.

And where might that be, Saira?

Sticking up for her husband Steve, whom she married in 2004, Saira, 47, added, “He’s a bit of geek. In his mind it was quite a big decision. Do I go with her or do I go with her?”

She’s now even embraced spreadsheets in her own life – luckily for more mundane use.

“They’re very useful now. They help me budget,” she joked.

This isn’t the first time Saira has spoken so publicly about her marriage.

In 2016, the TV presenter bravely revealed that she had completely lost her sex drive and had given husband Steve permission to have sex with somebody else – something he flat-out refused to do.

“I got to the stage where I said to my husband, ‘I’m just not in that place. If you really want to, go with somebody else,” she said at the time.

“I’m not ashamed that, for years, sex really has been the last thing on my mind. By 2011, I was a mother of two and I was mentally and physically exhausted.

The pressure of letting him down night after night left me in despair. [When I told him] Steve just held me close and kissed me and said, ‘I would never ever want to sleep with another woman.'”

Hmmm, we’re still not sure we’ve completely forgiven him for the spreadsheet…
