There’s always plenty of innuendo on Loose Women, but Denise Welch skipped any subtleties on Monday’s episode.
The panel were forced to apologise live on air after the actress told an x-rated anecdote about her, um, vibrator…
The presenters – which also including Andrea McLean, singer Gabrielle and Jane Moore – looked mortified as Denise, 60, opened up about her most embarrassing moment ever.
Barely blinking, the shameless star declared: “I left a vibrator in my hand luggage when I was going on holiday.”
Andrea, 49, joked: “Oh Denise, we’ve all done that.” The veteran star tried to cover her rudeness, adding: “It was half term, it was a shoulder massager.”
Later in the show – presumably after a telling-off from producers – Andrea apologised, telling viewers: “We do have to also say a quick apology for what Denise said earlier. She meant electric tooth brush…”
Denise also told a story of mistaking the former Labour party leader, Ed Miliband for her surgeon, saying: “I thought I recognised him [as] the guy who used to do my fillers.”
She explained how she was shrieking at him, “Don’t look at me,” because she hadn’t had her fillers re-done in a while. She added that she didn’t understand why he was looking at her “weirdly” and her friend had to explain: “That’s because it’s Ed Miliband.”

Loose Women also jokingly apologised to the politician for that on Twitter, posting: “Oh @RealDeniseWelch 😂 Sorry @Ed_Miliband!”

Despite the apology, most viewers seemed to find the cheeky moment hilarious, with one tweeting: “As always @RealDeniseWelch was on top entertaining form with her ‘mishap’ stories and that #Yorkshire accent was to die for 😂.”
A second wrote: “Haha absolutely hilarious 😂 you gotta love @RealDeniseWelch what brilliant tales she has to tell 😂.” A third added: “Oh she’s so funny🤣😂 Another joked that Denise: “Needs breathalysing!”
It was a high-energy show, as the panel also discussed surgery, and were joined by Kerry Katona for an interview.
Kerry, 38, confessed her ex-husband Brian McFadden was her favourite partner.
The mum-of-four reality star, who has been married three times, also joked: “They’ve had more step-dads than hot dinners, my lot!”
