ITV News presenter Lucrezia Millarini has been confirmed as the fourth Dancing On Ice contestant.
The newsreader, 43, has admitted she’s “super excited” to be taking to the ice rink alongside eleven other celebrities, including Love Island‘s Maura Higgins, Michael Barrymore and retired footballer Kevin Kilbane.
The show’s official Instagram page announced the news, writing: “She’s used to delivering the news, but can she deliver the moves? Joining us on the ice, @lucreziaitv!”
On joining the show, Lucrezia said: “I’m super excited to be joining the line up for DOI! I can’t wait to get out there on the ice and start training.
“While the news agenda is already pretty busy these days, I know life is about to get a lot busier… with a few bruises along the way!”
Fans were thrilled to have Lucrezia as part of the line-up.
One person commented: “It’s looking like a great line up this year can’t wait, whoop whoop bring it on.”
Another wrote: “So excited for you Lucrezia, you shine reading the @itvnews now let’s see you shine on the ice.”
It comes after Maura and Michael announced they had joined the show on Tuesday’s This Morning.
Love Island star Maura said: “I’ve skated twice in my life. I have no experience at all. It’s very scary.
“I’m more excited than scared. I’m brave and competitive. I don’t want to let everyone down now.
“I don’t go to the gym. My body is going to be in for it. I start [training] in October.”
Meanwhile, Michael said: “I’m delighted to say that I’ll be joining the Dancing on Ice line up for 2020.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that Kevin would be swapping the football pitch for the ice rink.
He told talkSPORT: “I am going on as a total novice. I’m starting from scratch here. This is going to be a massive challenge for me. I’ve been taking it easy since I finished football, so let’s just see how this one goes.”
