The paper revealed tweets from Jack’s official Twitter account where he casually dropped the n-word and repeatedly used homophobic slurs.

He also branded other users ‘retarded’.

The tweets, which date back six years, mocked gay men, laughed at people with facial disfigurements and called his friends the racist word.

He also insulted French people and used the word ‘gay’ as a derogatory term.

In December 2012, he replied to two people using the term ‘retarded [expletive]’

In February 2013, he hit back at another person, saying: “hahaha shutup you [expletive]… By the way who hit you with a shovel?”

In November 2011, he insulted French people, writing: “Do you know who I find annoying…bloody french people. Cant wait for Thursday -_- Hopefully by then we will have won :)”

In a racist tweet from 2011, he tweeted: “At alices with my n****s!” and in another from Jun 2012, he wrote: “Watching the B ball with my reaallll [expletive]!!!”

A spokeswoman for the 22-year-old vlogger said: “Jack is ashamed of these tweets, many were deleted a long time ago.

He would never use that language now and realises this kind of retaliatory, inflammatory, insulting language is completely unacceptable.”

A spokesperson for ITV added: “Jack has issued a full apology and has deleted the tweets that he sent.”

The inflammatory tweets were unearthed just days after another vlogger, Zoe Sugg – aka Zoella, was shamed after old tweets of hers were uncovered.
