I’m A Celebrity viewers divided over Naughty Boy’s ‘easy’ trial

Seems to have given his confidence a boost!

| Updated:

Some I’m A Celebrity viewers reckon Naughty Boy was given an ‘easy’ trial to keep him on the show.

The claims were made on social media after the music producer breezed through the Creepy Closets Bushtucker trial.

Naughty Boy, whose real name is Shahid Khan, has repeatedly indicated he is considering quitting the series.

Will Naughty Boy leave I’m A Celebrity 2021?

Viewers saw Naughty Boy mention to campmates once again he intends to be on his way during Friday (November 26) night’s show.

He told Snoochie Shy, Matty Lee and Danny Miller: “I just think my time here is done.”

However, the 36-year-old has yet to make his move.

And some viewers believe the less intensive challenge he took on may have helped convince him to remain in the castle… for now.

How did Naughty Boy do in Creepy Closets?

Naughty Boy was very successful in the search-for-the-stars challenge, even though he took the trial at quite a leisurely pace.

He was told to “best get a move on” by host Ant McPartlin at one point.

And Declan Donnelly also urged him to have a “little bit more urgency” as Naughty Boy sauntered on with his task.

Having fish guts and offal land on his head seemed to spur Naughty Boy on a bit.

I can’t leave after getting 11 stars.

But he barely noticed the snakes contained in one of the closets as he found the star in that room immediately.

Naughty Boy eventually bagged 11 stars – and later suggested his success had buoyed his confidence.

Asked by Danny whether that might mean he stays, Naughty Boy replied: “Of course, I can’t leave after getting 11 stars.”

How did fans react?

Some viewers watching at home pondered whether Naughty Boy may have received a boost with an ‘easier’ challenge.

One Twitter user claimed: “@imacelebrity they made Naughty Boy’s trial easy to make sure he doesn’t walk.”

“What was that trial? Make it easy just to appease Naughty Boy?” another person questioned.

And a third added: “Didn’t they give Naughty Boy a real easy trial to do just to keep him on the show? Let’s get some real people on this show, time this show came to an end #ImACeleb.”

However, others defended Naughty Boy and the trial as one said: “People need to stop attacking Naughty Boy.

“Just because he got 11 stars people are saying the trial was easy. Snakes, thousands of flies, scorpions and fish guts is easy?”

Another agreed, writing: “Naughty boy needed to do this trial. As easy as it may be to you lot sitting at home with a cup of tea. It’s so nice to see him this excited. Wholesomeness.”
