I’m A Celebrity star Naughty Boy “blocked out” the tragic death of his sister when he was a child.
The DJ, who is currently starring on I’m A Celeb, shared a close bond with his younger sister Samaira.
However, Samaira was tragically killed by a school bus as a child and Naughty Boy – whose real name is Shahid Khan – was just eight at the time, his older sister Saira has said.

Saira, 43, told The Sun: “Our sister was only seven. They were really close and always played together. They were best buds. I think he blocked it out as a child. He wouldn’t talk about it.”

Saira explained that their mother Zahida, who has dementia, thinks Samaira is still alive.
She added: “We talk about her a lot more nowadays. When we go to the shops to pick up food or clothes, mum asks us to buy things for her.
“I see that Shahid gets emotional when we are talking about it to mum constantly. She’ll always be a part of our lives and we have fond memories of her.”
Saira added that she hopes Naughty Boy can find moments where he is “able to confide in his campmates and use it as therapy”.
Meanwhile, Naughty Boy has had a tough time in the I’m A Celebrity castle so far.
Just a couple of days into the series, the star threatened to quit saying at the time: “I think my time here is done.”
He told his campmates he had been thinking about his mum, who he has been looking after during her battle with dementia.
After his threats to quit, Naughty Boy’s family spoke out and hit out at trolls who slammed him for wanting to leave.
On his Twitter account, his family said: “If only everyone knew what [Naughty Boy is] battling on the outside world.
“His mum (my nan) is battling dementia and he has been taking care of her for the last five years.”

They added: “This is the first time he has left her to do something life-changing! He is just overwhelmed and he will be fine.”
Meanwhile, on Friday night, Naughty Boy threatened to quit again but changed his mind after winning 11 stars in a Bushtucker trial.

I’m A Celebrity didn’t air last night and won’t be airing tonight because severe weather conditions in Wales has halted production.
Instead, “best moments from previous series” will air.
