Loose Women left some viewers squirming today as the panel expressed their appreciation for I’m A Celebrity star David Ginola.
The French football legend’s charms were top of agenda on Tuesday’s (November 23) show.
But with Coleen Nolan immediately cooing at the mere mention of the I’m A Celebrity show – never mind David’s name – some felt “double standards” were on display.
What did the Loose Women ladies say about I’m A Celebrity star David Ginola?
Host Charlene White didn’t even get her words out about Monday night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity before Coleen started sighing over David, 54.
Following a selection of clips showing David doing press ups and chopping wood in the castle camp, Coleen admitted she’d take on any trial herself to spend some time with the Gallic hunk.

She fantasised, huskily: “Honestly…”
Coleen continued with her fangirling: “I’ve never actually wanted to do I’m A Celebrity because I’m a coward.
“But I’ve been watching it the past couple of nights and I’ve been thinking:, I’m A Celeb, get me in there!”
Loose ladies on David Ginola’s snoring
As Charlene pondered how “desperate” Coleen is, the singer joked there were no lengths she wouldn’t go to.
She continued: “Literally, I would go in there and eat all those bugs if he was sitting next to me.
“I’d put up with his snoring, I’d put up with it all… because he’s just gorgeous.”
Asked whether she could really put up with David’s snoring, Coleen gushed how he even does that “with charisma”.

She reasoned: “If he was snoring, and I can hear him that means I’d be near him.”
Coleen also recalled being behind the scenes with David when he stripped off for ITV’s Body Stories campaign.
She joked how she remembered thinking at the time how much she “loves her life”.
How Loose Women viewers reacted
Despite Coleen clearly overdoing it as a bit of fun, some viewers objected to her lusty and “inappropriate” evaluation of the former Spurs winger.
One social media user complained: “@loosewomen Why are the women sitting there drooling and commenting on how attractive they find Ginola like this, making all these inappropriate comments?
“Imagine the outrage if a panel of men were drooling over a woman in this way. Stop the double standards.”
Someone else echoed that claim: “Imagine if men were on telly talking about a woman like this lot are about David Ginola in 2021.
“I thought we’d moved on #LooseWomen.”
Similarly, another tweeter suggested there would be “massive outrage” if the same situation occurred with men talking about a female in the same way.
“How is #LooseWomen still a thing?” they wrote.
“They are all on there drooling over Ginola basically saying how much they all want to [blank] him.
“Just imagine if that was a panel of men drooling over Frankie [Bridge] and making them type of comments! The outrage would be massive!”

Another user concurred with them: “Absolutely agree, double standards.”
And another person in agreement added: “Really annoying isn’t it? Like you said imagine the other day when it was #LooseMen and they sat there perving over women. Double standards! #LooseWomen.”
