I’m A Celebrity fans confused as show airs campmates returning

Didn't we see this yesterday?

| Updated:

Fans of I’m A Celebrity were left confused as ITV aired the campmates returning to the castle tonight.

As Frankie Bridge entered first following their evacuation over the weekend, viewers at home had a serious feeling of de ja vu.

Some questioned if ITV had “pressed the wrong button” and was airing yesterday’s episode instead because the scenes felt so familiar.

What were fans confused over on I’m A Celebrity?

Last night’s show (Tuesday November 30) saw the campmates returning to camp one by one after they had been removed.

However, Wednesday’s show opened with Frankie Bridge once again returning to an empty camp.

Frankie said: “It feels so amazing to be back, which are words that I never thought would come out of my mouth. I never thought I’d want to see a Castle ever again.”

Louise Minchin followed and told Frankie: “It’s not quite like being at home but it is like coming home and it’s absolutely wonderful. I’ve missed everyone!”

Meanwhile, Danny Miller revealed he had stuck solidly to the routines of camp life: eating rice and beans and sleeping on the floor.

What did fans say about the opening scenes?

Viewers were not impressed, and many questioned whether the show had been pre-recorded again.

Who’s doing tonight’s trial?

Meanwhile, Naughty Boy was once again voted to complete the trial, with Lords Simon and Adam to support him.

The trial – Savage Stakeout – saw Naughty Boy strapped, lying down into one contraption and then the other. There were six stars up for grabs first and then five in the second.

Lords Adam and Simon were asked questions about Lords and Naughty Boy was covered in critters between each round.

If they got the question right, he had to endure 30 seconds. If they got it wrong, he had to endure 60 seconds, plus the Lords were showered with Castle nasties.

Naughty Boy managed to win all 11 stars for camp.

I’m A Celebrity airs on ITV and ITV Hub.
