I’m A Celebrity: Brits reveal the most villainous contestants to ever appear on the show’s line-up

Fainting, stealing strawberries and getting in Ant's bad books

I’m A Celebrity has returned our screens for its 21st series and the show has a brand-new line-up of celebrities all ready to take on the, erm, delights of Gwrych Castle.

To celebrate the show’s return, Betfair Casino has revealed I’m A Celebrity‘s most villainous contestants ever, according to the British public.

I’m A Celebrity villainous line-up: 1) Katie Hopkins

Former Apprentice contestant Katie Hopkins has topped the poll for I’m A Celebrity’s top villain.

Before even entering the jungle, the controversial Katie commented: “People know me as the biggest [bleep] in Britain. I’m the sort of person to say something people are too afraid to say.”

In a recent interview, Ant McPartlin also admitted that she was his least favourite contestant.

He said: “Katie Hopkins was in I’m A Celeb but you wouldn’t really remember her doing it, as she didn’t really shine.”

Socialite Lady C sparked quite a few rows during her time in the jungle.

She clashed with almost all of the celebs, dividing the camp into supporters and haters.

Her most notorious spat was when she raged at her campmates for having to wash the dishes as part of a trial.

Of course Lady C refused, leaving her campmate Yvette Fielding to wash all the dishes on her own.

So it’s no surprise that 15% of the public voted her as the most villainous contestant.

Gillian McKeith ‘faints’ on I’m A Celebrity

Coming in in third place…

12% of the public voted Gillian McKeith as the most villainous contestant for her frustrating behaviour in the jungle.

The nutritionist annoyed her campmates and everybody watching at home when she fainted on live TV, moments before her Bushtucker Trial.

After wasting their money on a vote, viewers were furious that they didn’t get to see Gillian participate in the trial.

People even started to claim that Gillian’s faint was “fake”.

TV personality Kim Woodburn was also voted by the public as one of I’m A Celebrity’s top villains.

Kim stirred up a lot of drama during her time on the show because she just couldn’t stop causing arguments with her campmates.

At one point she even laid into Katie Price about being an attention seeker.

She said: “You live and die for publicity and you do it well.”

She also added: “As Shakespeare once said: ‘We fear you protesteth too much.'”

Amir Khan and Iain Lee

I’m A Celebrity: Amir comes in 5th with strawberry-gate

Amir Khan came fifth in the poll, with 6% of the British public voting for him as the most villainous contestant.

The boxing champ and comedian Iain Lee shocked the nation when they kept their Dingo Dollar prize to themselves.

After the camp won strawberries and cream as their Dingo Dollar prize, Amir expressed that he wanted to keep the prize to themselves and “eat the strawberries now”.

Eventually, he suggested “just looking” at the prize.

But as they unveiled the strawberries the two were tempted and ended up devouring the whole lot.

Iain Lee started to feel guilty for his actions and confessed what they did.

However, as Iain faced the anger and disappointment from the other campmates, Amir just sat back and let the blame fall on Iain.

I’m A Celebrity villains: The best of the rest

Rounding out the top 10 in the survey were Edwina Currie, royal butler Paul Burrell, Shane Richie and Matthew Wright, who all scored 5% of the votes.

Supermodel Janice Dickinson was the 10th most villainous star on the I’m A Celebrity line-up with 4% of the votes.
