I’m A Celebrity bosses confirm start date for this year’s show

And it's even sooner than you think!

Great news all, ITV bosses have confirmed a start date for this year’s series of everyone’s favourite celebrity reality show – I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

And the even better news is that it will actually hit screen THIS VERY MONTH and not in December as was previously thought.

So, the date you need to block out in your diaries is November 19th – just two weeks later than it’s usual on-air date, and not three as had been widely reported.

That’s less than THREE WEEKS, people.

The series was pushed back after much-love co-host, Ant McPartlin, recovered from a stint in rehab due to alcohol and prescription drug abuse.

It even looked uncertain if the popular Geordie star would be well enough to take on presenting duties from the celebrity camp in Australia this year.

Yesterday ITV released a teaser trailer which featured Ant’s distinctive voice alongside that of his presenting partner, Declan Donnelly.

I’m A Celeb fans took the inclusion of Ant on the trailer to be an absolute confirmation that he would be back doing what he does best for the 2017 series.

This came just days after presenting new recruit, Scarlett Moffatt, told the Sun Online that she expected both boy to be there to front the show.

Scarlett, who was crowned Queen of the Jungle last year, said: “I’m so excited to be back with Ant and Dec. I was texting Dec yesterday about it. I’ve been packed for three weeks. It’s not long now.”

She added: “The intention is [that Ant will be there]. We’ve spoken yeah. He’s doing well.”

As always, there’s been huge speculation about the celebrity line up who’ll be heading down under.

Names in the frame so far include former Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby, TOWIE’s Gemma Collins and ex-Saturdays singer, Vanessa White.
