I’m A Celeb star warns that she might get naked on camera

This year's series has been branded the 'sexist ever' already

Enjoying a jungle shower in nothing but swimwear is pretty much a guaranteed part of the I’m A Celebrity experience.

But one of this year’s jungle stars is a bit concerned they may take it one step too far and end up naked…

How, you ask?

Well, it’s all because comedian Shappi Khorsandi, 44, is so comfortable with nudity, she reckons she may forget the cameras are even there!

She explained to The Sun: “I used to be a life model and do that before I was a comedian so I am really comfortable with nudity.”

Shappi confessed: “I am really worried I will stand in the shower and say, ‘Why am I wearing a bathing suit? This is ridiculous’ and forget the cameras are there and strip off.

“That is my only concern.”

Hopefully not!

And if Shappi does end up sans clothes in the shower, it seems like producers won’t be helping her by hiding anything!

In a 2015 article for RadioTimes, former contestant Michael Buerk claimed he was told there’s “no problem” with nudity, as long as it was in a non-sexual capacity.

There’s double the chance for stars to get naked this year, as well, as producers have introduced a second method of bathing to camp.

Not only will the campers get to use the traditional jungle shower, a bath has also been installed in Croc Creek.

The show’s producer Oliver Nash told The Sun: “The bath is an exciting new luxury that will probably be popular with some of the more image conscious so they can get really clean.”

It’s also reportedly hoped the bath will encourage jungle romance to develop, as it’s big enough for two and requires two people to pump the hot water.

Sneaky!

Bosses have also installed another new feature designed to encourage closeness: a swinging love seat.

Oliver told The Mirror: “It would be nice for a couple to sit in and we have some good potential couples coming our way. It was well used in the dry runs when we tested it out.

“There absolutely could be romance with our cast this year, there are a lot of very good looking people.

“The potential for romance is higher than ever.”

There are five single celebrities in this year’s show: Shappi, ex Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas, Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo, YouTuber Jack Maynard and Saturdays singer Vanessa White.

Who knows what could happen under those Aussie stars?!

I’m A Celeb starts Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
