I’m A Celebrity viewers demand to know why Kate Garraway was in the bottom two

GMB fans need to step up!

With just under a week to go until this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is over, two celebrities have already been booted out of the jungle.

And it appears no-one is really safe from elimination – if last night’s (01.12.19) episode is anything to go by.

DJ Adele Roberts was the first celeb knocked out on Friday, and yesterday, comedian Andrew Maxwell became the second.

The result might not have been particularly surprising to some, since Andrew didn’t have the smoothest time in the jungle and regularly clashed with his campmates, particularly former footballer Ian Wright.

But viewers were puzzled to see Kate Garraway almost eliminated, when the Good Morning Britain presenter, 52, was revealed to be in the bottom two with Andrew.

On Twitter, one confused fan wrote with an angry-face emoji: “Very surprised Kate was in the bottom two – and even more surprised James was safe #imacelebrity.”

Another said: “#imacelebrity can’t believe Kate was in the bottom two. She’s good value, gets stuck in and is a decent lass. Glad that [bleep] has gone.”

Kate shouldn’t have even been in the bottom two.

A third put: “Can’t believe Kate was up. What’s that about? I suppose lots of people love the drama of having James know-it-all-I’m-always-right-bully-boy Haskell and Ian Wright Wright Wright… Mind you, Andrew was a bit tears and tantrums at the start but did calm down.”

Someone else tweeted: “YESSSSS but? Kate shouldn’t have even been in the bottom two, James needs to go! I’m glad Kate is still in it!”

A fifth said: “It would have been a real shame if Andrew survived ahead of Kate Garraway. Not sure what he added to any of it, let the hunger get to him and just wasn’t funny #imacelebrity.”

“Whaaaat! Who’s voting for Ian!?” demanded a sixth, adding: “Kate is amazing! #getianout #imacelebrity.”

Elsewhere in last night’s episode, viewers were divided over host Dec Donnelly‘s outfit choice.

Fans of the show rushed to Twitter to comment on his beige ensemble, which had some comparing the look to the style of a bush ranger and others joking he looked like sandpaper.
