I’m A Celeb campmate MUST stop pulling the sexism card

Viewers are getting tired of it

| Updated:

Cracks have well and truly started to show among the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! camp.

Well, after a week of rice and beans, sleeping outdoors, battling bugs and creepy crawlies daily, and missing home, we’re not surprised!

The latest clash in camp came courtesy of boxer Amir Khan and former Scottish Labour Party Leader Kezia Dugdale, who bickered over a log in tonight’s episode.

Viewers watched as Amir, 30, suggested Kezia, 36, didn’t use all the logs on the fire she was tending.

But Kezia wasn’t having any of it.

“I’m going to just do it this way, if that’s okay, because I’m going to boil up some water and get the water sorted out,” she retorted.

“What’s wrong with it the way it is?”

Well, in Amir’s view, she was “wasting logs” and he took to the Bush Telegraph to explain his position and claim Kezia doesn’t like her authority being challenged.

“There were too many logs on the fire, I mean why waste logs?” he said.

“The thing about Kez is that she doesn’t like to be told when she’s done something wrong. She likes her way to be the right way all of the time.”

Still feeling disgruntled, Amir went back to camp to talk quietly with Jamie Lomas.

“She’s just mad isn’t she?” said Amir. “She’s got a [bleep] load of logs on there and I said no point wasting logs just keep one or two on there.

“I took one off and she said why did I only take one off, I should have taken another one off. There’s no point arguing with her.”

Kez, meanwhile, made her feelings on the log situation perfectly clear when she said: “Man make fire, that’s their attitude.

“Boys make fire and girls just sub and help out when they are not around to keep things going.”

Oh dear.

Many viewers have decided that Kezia is making a battle of the sexes scenario out of nothing…

I’m A Celebrity continues nightly on ITV.
