Iain Lee makes damning claims about unaired I’m A Celeb scenes

He's back on his talkRADIO show

The jungle may be over for another year but stories are STILL emerging about I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

And the latest rather juicy claims came courtesy of former campmate Iain Lee, who returned to the airwaves of talkRADIO on Monday night.

Naturally, there was plenty of chat about the jungle, with listeners calling in to quiz Iain on his Australian experience.

And it was all VERY interesting.

Particularly when Iain delved into details about apparent scenes that never aired…

One caller posed the question: “I think you alluded to an instance with Jamie [Lomas] the other week that didn’t get aired?”

Iain replied: “There were a couple of bits with a couple of people.

“Dennis Wise took me to one side and said, ‘I’ve spoken to Amir [Khan] about the strawberries. He told me it was 50/50 but I know it’s all you.’ I was like, ‘Wow’.”

Iain continued: “And there was a bit after I found out I got immunity where Bex [Rebekah Vardy] said, ‘Oh, you’re a game player’… and then I was doing something with the fire and Jamie went, ‘Yeah, yeah, and you were spying on me, listening to me inside the Bush Telegraph’.”

When the caller asked why Iain thought the scenes didn’t air, he responded: “I don’t know. Maybe they didn’t pick up on it? I don’t know.”

Iain went on to elaborate on the situation with Jamie, which he said came about because the camp has two Bush Telegraphs. Who knew?!

“As I left BT 2, as we called it, I was excited as I’d got immunity, so I sort of punched the air,” he said.

“[Jamie] came out of his BT and thought I’d been listening. I was devastated as when you go in there, it’s private, apart from 12 million viewers. He said, ‘You were spying on me?’

“I thought he was joking so I laughed, then went, hang on, you mean that, don’t you?

“So I just went and sat on my hammock for a while until he came over and apologised.”

As for why that wasn’t aired, Iain said again: “Who knows what they picked and what they didn’t pick and the reasons for it. I have no idea.”

Iain finished in third place on this year’s show, which was won by Made In Chelsea star Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo.

He was arguably one of the most talked about campmates of the series – but not for the nicest of reasons.

While the radio DJ was in the jungle, everybody back home was discussing whether or not Iain was being ‘bullied’ by some of the campmates.

After leaving the jungle, Iain said he wanted to “quash” the claims as no bullying had taken place, but then he appeared to backtrack on that slightly via Twitter, saying he spoke out before having watched the show.

However, Dennis, Jamie and Rebekah have all vehemently denied any bullying.

Speaking on Loose Women yesterday, Jamie said: “It’s absolute nonsense. You see an hour a day, edited, and we were there for 24 hours a day. People are entitled to have an opinion.

“And Iain has come out and rubbished the rumours. It needs to move on from that now.”

Meanwhile, Iain – who is “thrilled” with third place – told listeners he’s on “good terms” with most of his campmates now.

“I bear no judges and there’s no beef,” he said.

He added that he’s so happy to be back on the airwaves – no doubt with many new fans who will be tuning each night after he won them over in the jungle!

Iain Lee’s talkRADIO show airs every weeknight at 10pm.
