Iain Lee finally gets chance to do another Bushtucker… after Dennis Wise row

Will he prove Dennis Wise wrong?

Iain Lee’s fans will be happy tonight as the comedian gets his chance to take on another Bushtucker Trial.

I’m A Celebrity viewers know Iain was left feeling a bit “humiliated” last night when Dennis Wise questioned his ability to successful complete trials and bring home food for camp.

But Iain will get his big chance to prove Dennis wrong this evening!

It’s a double trial as Iain and Coronation Street’s Jennie McAlpine enter the Dreadful Departure Lounge.

And it really does look dreadful!

The pair have to use their MOUTHS to unscrew plastic notes while their heads are trapped inside a glass box filled with jungle critters.

Yuck, yuck, yuck.

When Iain pops his head into one box he encounters a group of toads.

“Wow, that was a surprise!” he laughs. “How good of you! Are these the toads that are psychedelic when you lick them?”

“I’m afraid not,” says Dec. “Concentrate on the dollar. Don’t go licking the toads.”

It’s not only a gross challenge but also a tricky one.

In another box Iain and Jennie encounter huge mud crabs; Jennie is relatively lucky as hers are lurking towards the back of the box, but poor Iain’s crabs are right in front of the dollar key he needs to unscrew.

“Ah!” he shouts. “Get out of the way! I can’t get near it!”

Can Iain get the crabs to shift or will he be forfeiting a meal for camp?

We’ll find out on tonight’s show.

Jungle viewers were fuming last night after Dennis voiced doubt over Iain’s ability to complete a Bushtucker Trial.

The drama started when the camp were asked to choose someone for the latest Bushtucker Trial, called Tutankha-Doom.

Iain immediately said he’d like to have a go but pointed out Jamie also wanted to compete.

At that point, Dennis joined the conversation to say he’d prefer Jamie do the trial, given Iain previously called “I’m a celebrity… get me out of here!” and came home empty-handed.

Dennis said: “My only problem, and I’ll be honest with you Iain, is that you’ve said ‘Get Me Out Of Here’ twice and what I don’t want to do is we have no dinner and so….”

Firing back, Iain pointed out he’d won 11 stars on the trial he did finish.

He also said Dennis’ facts were wrong: “I failed one of [the Bushtuckers], the other was a challenge.”

“I get it, you don’t want me to do it, I withdraw my offer, does that mean I can do no trials for the rest of the run then?

“Is that what you’re saying, because that feels a little bit unfair” said Iain.

Dennis, however, was still unsure and warned: “If you come back with nothing everyone will be upset.”

“Iain, the problem is you’ve gone a couple of times and you’ve come back with nothing, so that causes me a slight issue,” added Dennis.

Naturally, Iain was a bit miffed by it all and retreated to the Bush Telegraph to say it “did feel a bit humiliating having my list of failures kind of recited back to me.”

Dennis, however, felt he was justified in his argument, pointing out: “People need to eat and people are hungry. If he doesn’t like my opinion, he doesn’t like it, but I have to say what I feel.”

Back at camp, Iain withdrew his offer to try the Bushtucker, prompting Dennis to say: “Don’t be stroppy.”

The two men then began to bicker, with Dennis accusing Iain of not letting him finish his sentence.

“Let me explain, if everyone chose for you to go tomorrow to do a trial I haven’t got a problem,” said Dennis. “So don’t say you can’t do no more trials because that’s only my thought process and I’m allowed that thought process so please don’t throw that back at me.”

“I’m throwing nothing back at you,” said Iain.

Dennis then warned Iain not to “try and make me look bad” as the other campmates piped up to end the chat.

Iain and Dennis then apologised to each other for being rude and shook hands.

Some viewers, however, felt Dennis had been out of line.

Others, however, didn’t think Dennis did anything wrong.
