Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield ‘to take two months off This Morning’

Their last show will be tomorrow

Hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will reportedly take two months off This Morning duties to enjoy a lengthy summer break.

The presenting duo take an extensive holiday every year and this will be a particularly long one.

Their last show of the summer will be tomorrow (Friday 12 July).

According to The Sun Online, Holly, 38, and Phil, 57, will have the rest of July off, as well as August, and they will return to their presenting duties in the first week of September.

Holly revealed she was feeling excited ahead of their penultimate show today (July 11).

The mum-of-three posted on Instagram: “Morning Thursday… getting slightly giddy that this is our penultimate show before the summer!”

This Morning veterans Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes are expected to fill in for most of Holly and Phil’s time away.

It’s thought other stand-in hosts, including Rochelle Humes and Mark Wright, may also step in to help out.

Married couple Ruth and Eamonn, both 59, already host This Morning on Fridays and during the new weekend slot.

Ruth has taken some time off from the show after the loss of her sister Julia last month.

Holly and Phil have got into a routine of having a long period off in summer to spend quality time with their families.

The close pals have even holidayed together during their breaks.
