Born and bred in the East End, Stuart turns up in Albert Square following Halfway’s return from duty.

And while Mick is pleased to see his old friend, it seems that Stuart’s arrival could soon spell trouble for The Queen Vic landlord as the two channel their younger selves and get up to no good.

If Stuart is such a bad influence on Mick, how will his arrival go down with the rest of the family?

On joining EastEnders, Ricky Champ said: “I’m so happy to be part of this brilliant team of people on this great show that I grew up watching. Look out Albert Square… Stuart’s coming!”

Game Of Thrones fans might recognise Ricky as Gatins from episodes which aired in 2016.

The actor has also starred in Paddington 2, Him and Her and Casualty.

In fact, he’s been in EastEnders before – as an extra in 2009!

Tony Clay has already started filming and will be on screen later this spring, with his brother following not long after.
