Good Morning Britain host Kate Garraway set to appear on I’m A Celebrity

From GMB to Bushtucker Trials…

After pulling out weeks before the start of last year’s show, it’s been revealed that Kate Garraway has decided to give the I’m A Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here! jungle another shot.

It’s been reported that the Good Morning Britain host has signed up to appear on this year’s show.

The TV host has even booked the time off work, The Sun reports, such is her commitment to appearing on the popular show this time around.

Mum-of-two Kate – who is married to Derek Draper – turned down a big-money deal last year due to her hectic schedule.

It’s thought Kate’s kids – Darcey, 13, and William, ten – are thrilled their mum has signed up to appear on the show, which is hosted by Ant and Dec.

Speaking earlier this year about her potential involvement, it seemed Kate was open to discussions.

She said: “I think it’s completely terrifying but it’s also a brilliant show to watch, so I don’t know. My kids would love me to do it – I don’t know what that says.”

Kate added that she sees the show – which features scary or stomach-churning Bushtucker Trials – as a form of “toruture”.

“People keep saying I’d be good in there, and basically what that means is you want to see me tortured,” she quipped.
