GMB has revealed the Spitting Image puppet of daytime TV favourite Piers Morgan.
On Good Morning Britain today (Wednesday, September 30), Piers showed viewers his puppet from the show.

And he laughed as he admitted it was just as hideous as he expected.
“I’ve always loved spitting image,” Piers admitted, before demanding: “Why have you given me such an enormous set of chins!?”
A number of those watching didn’t think the voice of the puppet sounded anything like Piers, though.

Earlier in the episode, Lorraine Kelly appeared on the programme and mocked Piers Morgan over his Spitting Image puppet.
It’s a real moment when you see your Spitting Image puppet and you realise they’ve perfectly lampooned you.
The Lorraine host, speaking with Piers and Susanna via video link, pretended to mistakenly think that the Piers present in the Good Morning Britain studio was actually the puppet.

Lorraine laughed: “Goodness me, that is absolutely astonishing!”
“What?” Piers asked, confused.
“That Spitting Image puppet,” said Lorraine. “It can speak and everything! Look at it.”

Realising what was happening, Piers warned: “You are… they’ll come for you, Kelly, they’ll come for you. I don’t think you two should go too early here with your chortling, because I will return fire when they come for you.”
Lorraine persisted, saying: “It speaks, it’s amazing.”
“You know what, they sent it to me last night,” Piers explained. “It’s a real moment when you see your Spitting Image puppet and you realise they’ve perfectly lampooned you in your most grotesque manifestation.”
Susanna then quipped: “Basically, it’s like looking in the mirror for Piers.”
