Former Strictly pro James Jordan lashes out at judges over latest elimination

He branded them "liars"

James Jordan has slammed the Strictly Come Dancing judges following the latest elimination.

On Sunday evening, Dev Griffin and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell were voted out of the competition after a dance-off against Viscountess Emma Weymouth and Aljaz Skorjanec.

James took aim at judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Bruno Tonioli, branding them “liars” for saying they were “shocked” that Dev was in the bottom two.

He wrote on Twitter: “HOW DARE THE JUDGES SAY THEY ARE TRULY SHOCKED!!!! LIARS!!! AND ITS YOUR FAULT! FACT!

“Why can people not be more honest in the world…. The public have been watching long enough to call [expletive]!

“Just mark what you see and then let the public decide… just do your job!”

In another tweet, James said: “As dancers there’s absolutely no comparison DEV is far far better even though this was his weakest dance so far.

“Although Emma’s performance was more fun and energetic BUT the judges should be judging the dancing and public judge their favourite.”

He added: “Dev was a potential finalist… WHY????? #Strictly.”

Dev and Dianne scored 27 points out of 40 for their Cha Cha Cha by the judges during Saturday’s show.

During last night’s results show, Craig told the pair: “The couple that really shone in that particular dance-off and came to life was Emma and Aljaz.”

Bruno said: “I have to save the couple that showed no mistake. Emma and Aljaz.”

Motsi added: “Particularly on that dance-off, one couple looked more safe, they looked more on top of it. I’m going to save Emma and Aljaz.”

Head judge Shirley confirmed she would have also saved Emma and Aljaz.

Dev said: “I’m absolutely gutted but learning how to dance and hanging out with Dianne and the pros and other celebrities [has been amazing].”

Dianne added: “Dev has been absolutely amazing, his work ethic is insane. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner. He’s so talented and thank you very much.”

The Australian dancer added on Twitter: “I’m sure you could all see how much this meant to us. I’m truly gutted as @dev_101 really had so much potential and I wanted to teach him so much more.
