She found fame as one of the Dingle clan, Mandy, on Emmerdale.

However, it seems Lisa Riley won’t be heading back to the farm, and instead has her eye on the cobbles of Coronation Street.

Talking to magazine Woman’s Own, Lisa suggested that Emmerdale were very keen to have her back on the soap, but that she keeps turning them down.

She said: “They keep asking me, but I don’t think so.

“I would do Corrie because I’ve got loads of friends there.

“It would be one of the tick-the-box jobs.

“But I had six lovely years as Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale and I loved playing her but it was my choice to leave.”

The Loose Women contributor also confirmed she’s not keen on participating in any more reality TV shows.

She added: “They’ve asked me to do everything, but no.

“I did Strictly because I learnt a craft, but sitting in a house with people who I don’t really think I’d get along with for six weeks does not float my boat.

“People say, ‘Oh, I did it for the money’.

“But there are other ways. I’d rather work in a coffee shop.”

It’s been a tough week for Lisa, who took to social media on Saturday to share her heartbreak about her “beloved” Grandad Sam’s passing.

She posted a touching picture to her 55,000 followers of her and her grandad holding hands.

Her caption included: “My dear strong Grandad Sam, you made me proud, and I made you proud.”
