First look at Celebrity X Factor line-up in full

Publicity shots and group names revealed

After the line up of hopefuls competing in the first-ever series of Celebrity X Factor were revealed, ITV has shared their official portraits.

Show bosses have also announced the group’s names.

The show is due to air this autumn after Simon Cowell announced plans for an X Factor shake up.

The already-famous hopefuls will be singing to impress Simon and his co-judges Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger.

Former TOWIE star Megan McKenna, who is now a country music singer, will compete alongside chat show queen Ricki Lake.

The Chase favourite Jenny Ryan, the show’s Vixen, will also perform live.

Hayley Hasslehoff – daughter of Baywatch icon David – TV presenter Martin Bashir and Glee’s Kevin McHale will also be stepping up to the mic.

Former soap stars will also try to impress the judges.

Jonny Labey, who played EastEnders‘ Paul Coker, will go head to head with a former Coronation Street star.

Victoria Ekanoye, who played accountant Angie Appleton in the ITV soap, has also signed up to appear.

Love Actually star Olivia Olson is also set to appear.

She impressed as a child star in the much-loved film, which starred Hugh Grant and Martine McCutcheon.

After belting out All I Want For Christmas Is You on screen, could she be headed for the coveted Christmas number one spot with her winner’s single?

The groups look exciting, with former Strictly Come Dancing star Brendan Cole teaming up with former Hollyoaks star Jeremy Edwards.

Their group name is the rather unimaginative Cole And Edwards.

Try Star will see rugby legend Ben Foden perform alongside fellow players Thom Evans and Levi Davis.

While Love Island stars Wes Nelson, Zara McDermott, Samira Mighty and Eyal Booker join forces to become The Islanders.

Elsewhere, Latin girl band V5 is made up of bloggers Sofia, Alondra, Laura, Wendii and Natalie.

While social media stars and CBeebies presenters Max and Harvey will also sing for their supper.

Announcing the idea for the show earlier this year, X Factor boss Simon revealed to The Sun that the celebrity version of the show will be a “huge change”.

He said: “The time feels right, and it will be a huge change.”

Simon added: “I think it’s going to be huge, it’s the best I’ve felt about this show in ages.”

There will also be an all-stars version of the show, with Leona Lewis and Ray Quinn reportedly signing up to take part.
