First celebrity voted off Dancing On Ice

Neighbours star Mark Little eliminated

Mark Little is the first celebrity out of Dancing On Ice after losing tonight’s skate-off to Ryan Sidebottom.

The Neighbours star, who performed in last weekend’s series opener, was voted off unanimously by the judges.

Mark skated again with pro partner Brianne Delcourt this evening, facing cricketer Ryan and professional Brandee Malto in the fight to avoid the first elimination of this year’s series.

Judges Christopher Dean, Jayne Torvill, Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo all voted to save Ryan.

After his elimination, Mark told hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: “This is a sport I’ve loved for years and to do that was extraordinary.

“I did my best. I never imagined I would do any of that, so I’m really happy. We’ve had a great time.”

Asked if he would continue skating, he added: “It’s definitely my new pastime. It’s a gorgeous thing to do.”

Giving his verdict after the skate-off, Jason told Mark and Ryan: “Watching that, it’s amazing that one of you upped your game from the main show skate.

“It was a better skate,” said Jason, adding that he would be saving Ryan from going home.
