Fans of Celebrity X Factor question who the stars are

Some even thought it was actually just a regular episode of the show

Fans of The X Factor: Celebrity have been left wondering exactly who the famous people are as the show kicked off tonight.

Head honcho Simon Cowell’s opening monologue told how it was “time for something different” after 15 years of finding unknown talent and propelling them onto a big stage.

He revealed the people taking part were all famous, but not for singing.

Some fans immediately pointed out that Kevin McHale made his name in Glee – a singing show, Megan McKenna has a singing career, and Ricki Lake was in Hairspray – a musical!

However, as the celebs arrived at Simon’s LA mansion for the audition process, fans were left questioning exactly who they all were…

Love Island stars Eyal Booker, Samira Mighty, Zara McDermott and Wes Nelson, aka The Islanders, arrived first, they were soon joined by Ricki.

The other acts followed one by one: Martin Bashir, Hayley Hasselhoff, Brendan Cole and Jeremy Edwards, Jenny Ryan, Olivia Olson, rugby players Thom Evans, Ben Foden and Levi Davis, Victoria Ekanoye, Johnny Labey, Max and Harvey, and The Influencers.

But as the hopefuls turned up, fans were left non-the-wiser as to who they all were!

There were a few who were excited by the line up though.

Megan McKenna and Ricki Lake particularly got people’s attention.
