As the saying goes, hell has no fury like a woman scorned – and Emmerdale vicar Harriet Finch was well and truly scorned in last night’s episode, leaving fans convinced she’s going to be out for revenge!
In fact, viewers are convinced that Harriet is so devastated by being dumped by Cain that she’s going to turn into the new Emma Barton – and go all out for revenge on love rival Moira!
Last night viewers saw Harriet give a rousing sermon about Rebecca White, who is still in a coma in hospital after the dreadful car accident that killed Lawrence and Chrissie.
But while Harriet was talking about Rebecca on the surface, it was clear she was really thinking about her own predicament – whether she could continue being a vicar while knowing the truth about Moira killing Emma.
“Don’t fight what you can’t win,” she said. Hmm.

Later she told the bishop she was leaving the church because of her relationship with Mr Dingle and the bishop wasn’t impressed.
“I really hope Cain’s worth it,” he said. At that point Harriet thought he was – but before she could even tell her boyfriend the news that she’d left her job, he interrupted her with some news of his own.
“I’m finishing it,” he said, not mentioning that he’d spent the night with his ex before dumping Harriet.

Heartbroken – and furious – Harriet let rip. Mostly about Moira.
“I can see why Emma hated her so much,” she hissed. Uh-oh.
And the viewers were soon speculating that Harriet’s anger could turn into a vendetta against poor Moira – maybe even a murderous campaign for revenge!
“Is Harriet the new Emma?” one viewer asked.
Another said: “Harriet hating on Moira now just like Emma did.” While another was loving the whole thing and begged: “I hope Emmerdale turn Harriet into a psycho.”
But it wasn’t all positive from fans. One even tweeted a gif of Robert Downey Jr rolling his eyes, and said: “Oh Harriet, here we go. Emma 2.0.”
