Emmerdale rocked by two deaths as Ross Barton faces acid attacker in court

The village is set to be rocked by two shock deaths in Emmerdale this week.

The first comes as Ross Barton prepares to come face to face with Simon McManus, the man who threw acid in his face and left him scarred for life.

As Ross and his supporters head in to court hoping to see Simon get sent down for a long while, the judge breaks the news that a key witness in the case has died suddenly.

Ross is left horrified, worrying that the case could fall apart and Simon could walk away a free man.

There are more shocks in store as the trial gets underway and Moira Barton discovers Debbie Dingle instigated the attack on her nephew.

Meanwhile the Spencer family are left reeling when some tragic news reaches them on Thursday.

Daz learns that Ali has passed away and breaks the news to her daughter Amelia before dad Dan even finds out.

Dan is raging at his brother as they begin to plan his ex-wife’s funeral.

As he reels from the news and Dan’s wrath, Daz has a skinful at the pub and drops a huge bombshell on Kerry Wyatt.
