We've missed her!

Great news for Chas Dingle fans – she’s headed back to Emmerdale.

This storyline was written in to cover actress Lucy Pargeter’s maternity leave.

She welcomed twin baby girls – Missy and Betsy – in April.

But now she’s ready to come back to work.

Chas will storm back into the village to sort out her broken family – including her eternally troubled son – and her mother, Faith, who has now taken root.

She announced her return on Twitter, writing: “Big day tomorrow my beautiful twirls turn 5 months and I go back to work!!

“Huge mix of emotions. I’m going to miss them so much. #workingmum.”

The soap fave recently gave an interview to OK! magazine about the births.

“It was a planned Caesarean as the girls were both breech. I got to 37 weeks – which is when they usually want to take out twins,” she explained.

Rudi and Lucy snapped at the British Soap Awards

“I wanted to watch the whole thing but they put a screen up when you’re having a C-section and it couldn’t be lowered quite enough for me to see.

“I was gutted I didn’t get to watch them being born. You feel everything with a natural birth and I couldn’t with a C-section, so I would’ve liked to watch it.”
