It’s Bob and Brenda’s big day in Emmerdale next week and it all gets off to a bit of an awkward start when Bob’s bit on the side, Laurel, is forced to join in the frolics on Brenda’s hen night.
Bob’s stag do doesn’t sound like much more fun either as he and his stags gather in the pirate ship to remember Ashley.
But Bob wants to be alone and sends the men on their way leaving him to grieve for his friend and his love for Laurel. Meanwhile Doug tries to convince Laurel to be honest about her feelings for Bob before it’s too late.
On the day of the wedding while Brenda gets her make-up done by Bernice, she’s blissfully unaware that Jimmy is worrying because Bob’s gone missing.
Nicola – who’s helping search for the missing groom – arrives and tells Bernice she needs to stall the bride.
Then Nicola, Jimmy and Rodney all gather outside the church and worry about where Bob’s go to. Is he really going to jilt Brenda?
Lydia is given the task of delaying Brenda, but she leaves for the church before Lydia can stop her.
When she arrives she discovers that Bob is nowhere to be found and fears the worst.
Elsewhere Laurel and Doug finally find the errant groom – he’s still inside the pirate ship having been locked in!
