EastEnders viewers fear Ben Mitchell is DEAD after brutal beating by ex

Fans fear the worst after Luke Browning violently attacks him

We’ve known for a while that EastEnders’ Ben Mitchell is set to leave the Square sometime soon and, after last night’s events, fans are worried that they’ve finally seen the character’s exit from the show.

The episode saw Luke Browning violently attack his ex, leaving him battered and unconscious on the ground.

Earlier in the episode, viewers saw Ben angrily reject controlling Luke’s attempt at a reconciliation and decline his gift of a car saying: “You make my stomach turn. You’re just like your father. Go on, jog on. Take your piece of junk with you.”

This left the hot-headed businessman raging and he later returned to the garage with sinister intentions.

When Ben repeated that he wanted his ex-boyfriend to leave him alone, evil Luke pushed Ben and growled: “You don’t tell me what to do.”

Ben, son of Phil Mitchell, attempted to fight back and punched his attacker in the stomach. But Luke managed to catch Ben off guard, violently beating him up and leaving him unconscious and bloody on the floor.

“Who’s laughing now?” Luke snarled, before coldly exiting the scene.

Viewers took to Twitter to air their concern that this is the end for Ben.

However, some other fans started to compare Ben to his notoriously tough father, Phil Mitchell with one saying: “Come on Ben you’re meant to be a Mitchell!!”
