Halfway is returning to EastEnders tonight, but all is not what it seems for him.
The soldier – played by actor Tony Clay – will make his way back to Albert Square to reunite with his girlfriend Whitney Carter.
And while she is thrilled to see him, he seems to be distracted.
Whitney rushes Halfway over to the Queen Vic full of excitement to show him off.
The Carters are equally as happy to see Halfway after all he has done for them.
Viewers know how Halfway came through for the family by giving them an expensive ring he stole from the heist to help them save the Vic.
But as Halfway slips out of the pub, he goes to sit in the Square and seems distracted by whatever it is he is hiding.
And there is good news for fans of Halfway, as he’s not returning alone.
He will later be joined by his older brother, Stuart Highway.
The elder brother has a history with Mick Carter and the pair will renew their friendship and cause all manner of havoc.
Stuart will be played by Him and Her actor Ricky Champ.
