EastEnders viewers have become concerned that another fan favourite could be about to bow out of the BBC One soap.
Following news that Lisa Hammond would be leaving her role as Donna Yates in the coming months, fans panicked that Jamie Borthwick -AKA Jay Brown – could be following.

Donna and Jay share a house in the show and now she’s off, it’s going to leave the undertaker a bit lonely.
His other housemates Ben Mitchell and Abi Branning have also left the soap when Harry Reid and Lorna Fitzgerald were written out.
So where does this leave Jay?
Fans took to Twitter to ponder his future in Walford.
“Love how all the people who live in the shared house are leaving/have left. Jay better not be next #EastEnders,” tweeted one fan.
Another added: “With Abi, Ben and now Vincent leaving, this was inevitable. I just hope Jay doesn’t follow her.”
And a third said: “Oh my days Donna is leaving as well! Jay is actually going to have no one to live with.”

But other fans see him sticking in the show, especially now he has a blossoming bromance with Keanu Taylor.
Some viewers even thought they could even end up having a full-blown romance!
