Danny Dyer’s actress daughter Dani claims she is banned from appearing in EastEnders

Well this is a shame, if true!

Danny Dyer is the undisputed King of EastEnders these days, but nepotism doesn’t wash in Walford – as his aspiring actress daughter Dani claims to have discovered.

She is keen to follow in her father’s thesp-y footsteps and has already appeared in a couple of low-budget films.

But there’s no chance of her making an appearance in Albert Square – at least not any time soon.

The 21-year-old, whose celebrity value is set to increase with her appearance in ITV2’s new reality show Survival Of The Fittest, has told the MailOnline that she is banned from the soap.

“They wouldn’t let me in it,” she admitted. “They won’t let me and are like, ‘It ain’t going to happen.’

“I think it’s because my dad is already on it so if I went on it there would be a massive outrage.”

Dani told the tabloid that Danny couldn’t have been prouder when she announced her intentions to follow in his trade.

“When I did my first film he cried the whole time he watched me, because he’d never seen me act before, except in school plays,’ she explained.

“He said, ‘Is this something you want to do?’ And I said, ‘Definitely, for the rest of my life.'”

“He is really good. As I have got older he lets me do what I want to do and if I need him I can go and talk to him.”

Sounds like he is a real-life Mick Carter!

Survival Of The Fittest, which is hosted by Laura Whitmore, kicks off this Sunday and is being billed as the winter Love Island.

But this show pits boys and girls against each other in a series of physical and mental challenges. While they are wearing their bikinis, of course.
