Dancing On Ice star Max Evans’ ex-wife Katy Johnson has revealed she “begged” him to take her back after regretting ending their relationship.
The American actress, 29, walked out on the rugby player and moved to Los Angeles where she got caught up in the party scene.
But Katy admits it wasn’t long before she realised she had made the wrong decision and pleaded with Max to give their marriage another go.

“I had hurt him so much,” Katy told the Mirror. “He said he didn’t trust me not to hurt him again. At that point I put all my pride aside and I was begging him. I do think about what could have been.”
The pair’s whirlwind romance began in 2010 after they met through mutual friends in LA.
Katy admitted she knew Max was the man she wanted to marry.
Max flew Katy to his home in Scotland to “meet his parents,” and they soon decided to become a couple.
Max proposed in Paris two and a half years later and the pair married in 2014 in Minnesota.
But their marriage soon hit a rocky patch. Katy admits she had “an amazing husband”, but “no job or career”.
“I wanted my own identity. I was sick of being the wife of Max Evans,” she confessed.
Returning to the States to kick start her career again Katy said she started “going out and drinking a lot.”
Their marriage started crumbling and Katy revealed she got to a point where she didn’t know if she wanted to be married any more.

The star said: “I really pushed him away. I treated him like crap.
“Then he came to Iceland to see me and said, ‘I don’t think we’re going to get back together.’ I was devastated.”
Max and Katy confirmed their split in January 2017 and agreed to divorce.
Max has since moved on with current girlfriend Lauren Jamieson, and Katy admits she’s happy for him.
“He’s great to Lauren and that makes me feel worse about how I treated him,” Katy said. “I’m still lucky I have Max as a best friend.”
