Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay remain friends post-split, open to future reconciliation

Could he skate back into her life?

Amber Davies might have split from her Love Island boyfriend Kem Cetinay last month, but she has revealed the pair are still close, despite not talking.

The pair, who met on TV show Love Island, were together for nearly five months and split just before Christmas.

She told ITV’s Lorraine recently:

“I think that both of us need to concentrate on our careers, and I definitely need to grow up a little bit before I commit myself into anything too serious, but I’ll always have a special place in my heart for him.”

But she also told The Sun that she isn’t ruling out getting back with him.

The 20 year old said:

“We’re very good friends. If I ever needed him, he’d be there in a shot. I know that for fact.”

“So it’s the whole we need space. He works on himself. I work on myself. And you never know what might happen in the future. I’m not ruling out anything.”

Which is good news for 21 year Dancing On Ice star Kem.

He has been heart broken since the split and had to read about his former girlfriend being linked to several fellas, including singer Olly Murs and TOWIE star Pete Wicks.

He admitted he was gutted to see those stories in a chat with The Sun, he opened up saying:

“I am not going to sit here and say it is fine — I still have feelings for her — but at the end of the day, if she wants to date a celeb then I have to accept it. There’s nothing I can say,”

But Amber has been supporting Kem in his quest to be King of the ice and even took to Twitter to show it.

And fans loved it as well…

Here’s to hoping a little bit of space is all they both need.
