Joe-Warren Plant is swapping the Dales for the ice rink as he joins the contestants taking part in Dancing on Ice.
The young actor will compete against the likes of Denise van Outen, Myleene Klass, Faye Brookes, Graham Bell, Colin Jackson and Jason Donovan when the series returns.

Who is Joe-Warren Plant?
Joe-Warren plays Jacob Gallagher in Emmerdale, and has done since he was eight.
He will take part in the 2021 series of Dancing on Ice alongside 11 other celebrities.
The 18-year-old actor says he is excited to take on a thrilling new challenge.
He says: “I’m so excited to learn something new. I’m in it to win it, 100 per cent. I’m super excited.
“It’s a new challenge, I’ve never done anything like it before, so super excited.”
Is Joe-Warren Plant leaving Emmerdale?
Joe-Warren won’t be leaving the soap, as producers have agreed to write him out of the show for a few months.
The actor wants to concentrate on honing his skating skills without distraction.
Joe-Warren reveals: “Jacob is off to Portugal for six months to go and visit his mum, and he has a job lined up over there working on a boat.”

Why was Jacob Gallagher’s storyline controversial?
Joe-Warren acted out a meaty but controversial storyline about child grooming, which received hundreds of complaints from viewers.
His 15-year-old character was groomed by predatory teacher Maya Stepney.
The depraved teacher coerced Jacob into bed – and he fell in love with her.
Joe-Warren’s scenes caused viewers to call Ofcom, as he was only a teenager himself at the time.
Who is Joe-Warren Plant’s girlfriend?
Joe-Warren is in a relationship with 23-year-old model girlfriend Nicole Hadlow.
They have been dating since 2017.
Their relationship made headlines when a picture emerged of him sitting in a hot-tub with her when he was just 15.
Joe and Nicole marked their first anniversary in August 2018 by jetting out to Mexico.
He wrote on Instagram at the time: “One year today. I look forward to making even more memories with you right by my side. I love you.”
