Dancing On Ice has announced Denise Van Outen is the third contestant for next year’s series.
Denise appeared on Loose Women on Wednesday (September 23) to reveal she’s signed up to the programme.
However, the news was actually revealed by Linda Robson before Denise came on.
Revealing the clues they were given, Linda said: “Denise Welch, a fox, a transit van and we’ve got a big fried breakfast.”
Janet Street Porter said: “Oh can’t you get it now?! It’s so obvious.”
Quickly realising, Linda shouted: “Foxy Denise, van… Outen!” as she covered her mouth with her hand.
Kaye Adams said: “No, no! All will be revealed in a few minutes.
“You blew it again!”
What did Denise Van Outen say about Dancing On Ice?
Denise said: “As I’ve got older, I’m more fearful. I’m not as confident on the ice as I would have been if I was younger.”
Speaking about possible injuries, the star added: “I am worried about injuries but I’ve been reassured. The pro skaters do look after you.”
Who else is doing Dancing On Ice next year?
Meanwhile, it comes after Emmerdale actor Joe-Warren Plant confirmed he’s doing the show.
Joe appeared on This Morning as Sharon Marshall announced he’s competing.
When asked what would happen to Jacob during Joe’s Dancing On Ice appearance, he said: “Jacob’s off to Portugal for six months to visit his mum and he’s got a job lined up over there working on a boat, so yeah.”
Meanwhile, speaking about getting on the ice, Joe added: “I’m super excited, I can’t even describe it.
“I’m glad I’ve got the time off ‘Emmerdale’ to really focus on training, and to try my best.
“It’s a new challenge. I’ve never done anything like it before.”
However, the star hasn’t had as much time to wear his boots in as he could have done because he accidentally got his shoe size wrong.
In addition, he said: “They were asking about my shoe size and me being an idiot, I told them the wrong shoe size.
“So I went to try the skates on and they were just way too big for me. I needed a size down.
“I got them sent to me the other day and since then I’ve been trying to wear them in a bit.”
In addition, Myleene Klass will be competing on next year’s series.
What did Myleene Klass say?
She wrote on Twitter: “Guess who won’t be holding the coats by the side of the rink anymore!
“My girls have been begging me to do @dancingonice.”
The star added: “Anyway, I want to make them proud, show them I’m up for a challenge and try for a bum like J.Lo.”
