There are some very exciting rumours circulating that Ian Puleston-Davies could be returning to Coronation Street after he was spotted attending Jack P Shepherd’s 30th birthday party.
Never has there been a better time for Ian’s alter ego, Owen Armstrong, to come back to the Cobbles – with his ex, Anna Windass, in the ginormous pickle that she is, who better to save her than the love of her life?
After Owen departed Weatherfield back in 2015 following the break down of his relationship with Anna, there was clearly unfinished business between the pair.

Since his time on Corrie, Ian has starred in shows like Beowulf, Marcella and Tin Star – but perhaps he could be missing the famous Cobbles.
Anna is currently in prison after being framed for crimes committed by evil Pat Phelan, and with her trial about to take place it’s looking more and more like she could be facing time inside for manslaughter.
But maybe Owen could be returning to save her from a long stint in prison? Could he be the one to bring evil Phelan down?
Rumours started when Ian was spotted partying with the rest of the Corrie cast in Manchester last night for Jack’s birthday.
The friends all celebrated Jack’s milestone birthday at Neighbourhood Bar and Restaurant in Manchester – with the Corrie actor looking dapper in a navy blazer, teamed with a black and white leopard print shirt.

The birthday boy even shared a picture on his Instagram page – leading to his followers all wishing him many happy returns.
So whether Owen is making a welcome return to Corrie or not remains to be seen – but we’ve got our fingers firmly crossed that the rumours are true.
