Corrie’s Andy Whyment and mystery star ‘to join I’m A Celebrity line-up’

10 campmates have been confirmed already

Soap star Andy Whyment and a mystery celebrity are reportedly joining the I’m A Celebrity 2019 line-up.

Earlier this week, the 10 campmates heading into the jungle this weekend were revealed including American TV star Caitlyn Jenner, former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa and Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway.

However, according to The Sun, two new campmates are joining and it’s been said Coronation Street actor Andy will be sent into camp when the series kicks off.

The publication reports that Andy will be joined by another famous face.

Ent Daily has contacted reps for I’m A Celebrity for comment.

This year will see Caitlyn, Jacqueline and Kate joined by Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle, former footballer Ian Wright, Rak-Su singer Myles Stephenson, radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts and comedian Andrew Maxwell.

Finally, former England rugby player James Haskell and capital radio DJ Roman Kemp are going in.

It’s been reported that bosses have spent almost £1million on signing Ian and Caitlyn for the series.

Last year, former Deal or No Deal presenter Noel Edmonds entered the jungle as a late arrival and definitely caused a stir.

Ian Wright is the standout favourite, he was always calm.

However, bosses apparently spent £600,000 signing him for the show and he was the first to leave the jungle.

The new series will launch this Sunday (November 17) and will be hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly.

Even though the series hasn’t yet began, bookies have already predicted which campmate is a very early favourite.

Although he’s admitted that snakes, rats and bugs make him “squirm”, the odds of Ian being crowned King Of The Jungle are currently at 2/1.

A William Hill spokesperson said: “Ian Wright is the standout favourite, he was always calm and composed in front of goal and we expect him to be the same here.”

Ian is followed by Roman at 9/2 and rugby ace James at 5/1. Former Olympian Caitlyn comes next with odds of 7/1.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! starts on Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
