Could Steve McDonald and Leanne Battersby be the Street’s hottest new couple?
Well, there are rumblings that their relationship could indeed become something serious.
Obviously we already know that there is an attraction between the pair as after a fling Leanne had his baby!
But could that one off experience lead to a long term relationship?
And does that mean Steve and Michelle are no more?

Well fans are furious that this is the direction the storyline is taking and were rather vocal online about the possibility they become the Street’s new couple.
In last night’s episode, viewers saw Steve and Leanne move in together so they could take care of their young son.
And it turns out that they worked really well together as they practised a controlled crying technique to soothe baby Oliver.
With the wee baba was calm and snoozing, Steve and Leanne got time to relax with each other and chat, and hit it off.
Then when Liz popped around for some ear plugs she had left behind, she was impressed by the way they had worked together in calming Oliver down.
“It’s a shame he’s only got this time with the both of you, as a family,” she said.

The innocent comment made the pair look at each other in a different way, leaving viewers to wonder whether or not this tender moment could lead to something more long term!
But viewers were not sure they were keen to have the couple get it on.
One raged: “Liz trying to set Steve and Leanne up oh God no #Corrie ”
While another questioned: “Why are Steteve and leanne moving in together it’s absolutely ridiculous #Corrie ”
A third summed up the general feeling, stating: “Leanne & Steve?! #DoNotWant ….I still hold a flame for Steve & Michelle.”
