Love is in the air!

Coronation Street’s Daniel Brocklebank has declared he’s head over heels in love again – after splitting from co-star Rob Mallard in July.

The soap star, best known for playing Billy Mayhew on the cobbles, has been gushing like crazy all over social media when it comes to boyfriend Stuart Hatton Jr.

Sharing his happiness on Twitter, the actor said: “The best love story is when you fall in love at the most unexpected time with the most unexpected person.”

Aww.

Loads of fans were quick to wish Daniel and Stuart well – and say how happy they are to see Daniel all loved up.

Daniel’s new partner Stuart is a TV and radio presenter, dancer, two times Mr Gay UK winner and Mr Gay World champion.

The smitten couple are frequent fixtures on each other’s Instagram accounts, posing for cute and smiley selfies together.

Stuart, meanwhile, has made his feelings for Daniel clear in a cheeky message of his own.

He recently tweeted: “Not only is @Dan_Brocklebank awesome but when I fart he stands and applauds then records it as a ring tone #Keeper.”

Daniel split from Corrie co-star Rob Mallard – aka Daniel Osbourne – over the summer.

At the time, a source told The Sun: “It was a lot of pressure for both of them to be working on the same show and going out—in the end something had to give.

“They decided to part ways a couple of weeks ago but they’re still great friends and hope to remain that way.”

The pair had only confirmed their romance that May.

They had both taken to Twitter at the time to share funny messages, with Daniel joking: “It’s true! @Rob_Mallard only came round to put some shelves up & it went from there…”

Rob, meanwhile, quipped: “Thanks for all of the kind comments! I have indeed bagged the ‘notorious’ @Dan_Brocklebank (batteries not included).”

At the British Soap Awards in June, Rob had given Dan a shout-out when he picked up the Best Newcomer prize.

He told the audience: “Even though this is fantastic, Dan you’re the best thing I’ve ever taken home.”
