Coronation Street viewers have predicted there will be an epic showdown between best friends and cousins, Carla and Michelle Connor, following Carla’s romp with Michelle’s son Ali Neeson.

They were left stunned when the cobbles cougar slept with her nephew/second cousin (or something) while she tried to butter him up into letting his problem with biological mum Michelle slide.
Let’s just say, she really took one for Team Connor.
Dr. Ali was seen slipping out of Roy Cropper’s flat in the morning, while Carla pretended the young GP had paid her an early morning out of hours visit.
She said: “So thank you for coming at such short notice doctor,” while Ali grinned and told her to use the cream if the rash didn’t clear up.
Oh, the laughs.
But later, Carla got a tiny taster of Michelle’s wrath as her mate joked about how she’d kill her if she slept with her son.
When Robert pointed out to his fiancee that Carla was doing her best to get Ali on side, Michelle quipped: “You two best keep it up then, sleep with him if you have to.”
A horrified Carla replied: “As if!”
“I’m kidding, obviously. I’d kill you,” Michelle retorted, making it clear that this was a line not to be crossed.
Since Carla’s return was announced before Christmas, Corrie boss Kate Oates teased there would be a huge feud on the cards for the factory owner and Michelle.
Up until now they’ve been happy as Larry but it looks like Carla’s fling with Ali will push the friendship to its limits.
Kate said back in September: “I really wanted to bring back that feisty side to the character and while it’s right that she and Michelle will have some tension ahead.”
It looks like that tension is about to kick off.
And fans think so too…
“Michelle is going to kill Carla when she finds out she slept with Ali,” said one viewer, and another added: “Michelle won’t be laughing when she finds out Carla slept with Ali.”
