Coronation Street SPOILER: Billy’s back from rehab

Will Billy ever get his life back on track?

Billy Mayhew is back in Weatherfield after his stint in rehab – but any joy at being home is soon crushed when he’s dealt a huge blow.

With his drug addiction under control thanks to his time in rehab, Billy is looking forward to getting his life back to some sort of normality.

But before that can happen, Tracy announces he is three months behind with his rent and she’s throwing him out of the flat.

Despite Billy’s desperate pleas, Tracy reveals she doesn’t want a junkie living in her property and gives him his marching orders.

She always did have a nice way with words that Tracy!

Billy’s left totally humiliated, not only because he’s homeless, but because Summer is at Eileen’s at that very moment packing her things so she can move back in with him.

Billy goes to see Adam, asking if Todd has any wages coming his way – but Adam’s not happy to see him and sends him packing.

Billy apologises to Adam for everything that has happened between them, and it looks like tensions might be thawing.

With no where to live, Billy is grateful when Shona and Adam agree to help him. But with Tracy adamant she doesn’t want him in her flat, the pair have to get their thinking caps on.

Shona comes up with a solution when she offers to move into the flat with Billy and Summer – and also act as their guarantor.

Billy’s thrilled when Tracy reluctantly agrees – it looks like Billy and Summer have got themselves a new flatmate.

Despite the fact they’re back home and under the same roof, Summer’s still not happy with Billy and is making his life as tricky as she can.

Billy offloads to Shona, wondering where he is going wrong, but she just points out that Summer is still hurting and promises to help him build bridges.

Can this unlikely trio make their new living arrangements work?

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
