Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem had a truly gross fetish, according to his friend

Every couple has their weird foibles

Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem split up seven years ago – and it’s clearly taken their friend this long to come to terms with what he saw.

Australian radio presenter Kyle Sandilands has shocked fans with claims that he used to see the pair “spit in each other’s mouths”.

He made the gross revelation on his radio show, KIIS FM, saying: “I remember when I’d have them around my house. And they were in love and sometimes would spit in each other’s mouths.

“Delta would sit with her mouth open, and Brian would spit into her mouth and Delta would spit back into his mouth.”

He explained that the couple – who started dating in 2004 – thought it was: “Fun, they said fun. I always thought, ‘Wow! That’s weird’.”

The pair met when Brian broke up with his ex-wife, Kerry Katona, with whom he shares two daughters, Molly and Lilly-Sue.

Brian, now 38, and Delta were engaged before they split in 2011 after seven years together, with Brian tweeting: “I love Delta and always will. She is one of God’s living angels. I thank her for giving me the best years of my life. Please give us time x.”

But the Neighbours actress, 33, who is now a coach on The Voice Australia, wasn’t so generous when she later opened up about the relationship to Australian Vogue.

“There is so much I’d like to say. I was really unhappy and I didn’t know how to get out,” she said. “I learnt. I got there in the end.”
