Bookies slash odds on Gemma Collins falling again

Could she take a second tumble?

Bookies have slashed the odds on Gemma Collins falling over again on Sunday’s Dancing On Ice.

The star took an almighty tumble on last week’s show as she hit the ice following a blackout, and now William Hill have put her odds at 2/1 that she will tumble again.

William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said: “Gemma is proving to be a PR winner for Dancing On Ice and amazing she is now our worst result.”

They’ve also got her at 5/1 to pull out of the show due to injury before it ends.

But The GC has remained defiant that she will be skating on Sunday despite the pain she’s in, having been given the all clear from doctors to return to training.

Posting an image of her at the doctors on Tuesday, Gemma declared: “Be back Sunday guys don’t worry. Nothing is going to stop me.”

Prior to her fall she was performing better and her marks, 16 out of 40, reflected the improvement.

She has since been accused of faking the fall, but in an interview with The Sun has insisted she definitely didn’t do it on purpose.

“It definitely wasn’t faked,” she told Dan Wootton. “One million per cent. If they knew the pain I am in with my knee, they would understand.”

She’s also asked to be cut some slack as it’s physically more tiring for her to be in the competition due to the extra weight she’s carrying.

William Hill currently have her at 80/1 to win the whole series and 7/1 to be eliminated next.

The current favourite to win is Love Island star Wes Nelson who, at 11/8, is just ahead of Strictly dancer James Jordan at 7/4.

Although Wes’s hopes of winning the trophy could dashed as he’s currently nursing an injury too.
