Good Morning Britain viewers were left stunned on Wednesday morning when Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway bickered on air.
The presenters told fans they’d had an argument off-air, with Kate admitting: “It’s all kicking off.”
After returning from an advert break, things looked awkward on the panel.
Kate, 51, admitted: “We’ve just had a little squabble over a pen.”
Ben, 44, responded: “Well, tidy the desk then! For heaven’s sake!”
The veteran TV star replied: “It’s because you’re here on a Wednesday and we’re used to a bit more freedom.”

Ben also revealed during the show that usual presenter Piers Morgan won’t be back until March now, thanks to filming commitments in America.
Susanna is thought to be returning when he does.
Susanna tweeted about the break, writing next to a selfie with her co-host: “Sadly, our last morning together for three weeks.”
Viewers have so far not been impressed with their absence.
It seems viewers are missing the usual presenters, with one tweeting: “It’s just so dreary to watch with Ben Shepherd – he’s on TV too much what’s the attraction? Kate is good but not at the front – where is Piers and Susanna???”
It followed Kate’s awkward clash on Tuesday’s show with a NAKED guest.

An anti-Brexit campaigner named Victoria Bateman – who believes that leaving the European Union leaves Britain ‘naked’ – appeared on the ITV show for a live interview.
But Kate admitted she found interviewing Victoria in the nude “shocking” and “distracting”.
