Will he make it to next month's final?

And he’s tipped to be one of the finalists in the last show of the series thanks to his dazzling routines with partner Janette Manrara.

But with the baby due early in January and the Strictly final scheduled for December 16, Aston’s concerned that he might have to duck out of the dancing if Sarah goes into labour.

Because he says he’d leave the show to be at Sarah’s side.

“If I got to the final it would be amazing, it would be great, but what if suddenly her waters broke?” he told The Mirror.

“If that happens then I’m not going to finish the dance. I’ll be straight out, grab the bag, let’s go. I’m prepared.”

Aston’s hopes of making the final took a bit of a battering in last night’s show when his Viennese Waltz to Who’s Loving You by the Jackson Five, didn’t wow the judges as he and Janette had hoped.

Inspired by his turn as Michael Jackson on Stars in their Eyes when he was a kid, Aston was passionate about the routine.

But Craig said the routine “lacked any form of grace.” While Bruno said: “We all take risks. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t. It didn’t work for me.”

Aston and Janette scored 27 so they’ll need the public vote to help them stay in the competition.
