Ant McPartlin hits back at I’m A Celebrity viewer’s claim they’ve ‘got it in’ for Ian Wright

Many are saying Ian's recent Bushtucker trial was "unfair"

TV’s Ant McPartlin has hit back at claims the I’m A Celebrity team have “got it in” for Ian Wright after his Bushtucker trial at the weekend.

On Sunday night, the former footballer faced Hell-Evator in which he was taken to three different levels of a secret bunker and he had to get out on each level and search for stars, which were surrounded by different critters including snakes, toads and crocodiles.

However, Ian wasn’t impressed with how tight the knots were on the strings the stars were attached to.

He managed to get seven out of the 11 stars but he wasn’t happy and insisted the knots were “impossible” to undo.

Last night saw Nadine Coyle take on Movile Home where she had to search for stars in an abandoned mobile home.

She also had to untie knots before unscrewing each of the stars.

Nadine flew through the trial and managed to secure a full 10 stars for camp.

However, viewers weren’t happy and claimed the knots Nadine had to undo weren’t as tight as the ones Ian had to do.

One person tweeted hosts Ant and Dec Donnelly: “Nah Nadine’s knots are easy. #fix @antanddec @imacelebrity this is unfair. You lot have it in for Ian Wright Wright Wright.”

But Ant hit back: “No we haven’t, he’s just rubbish with knots A.”

Others were quick to accuse the show of giving Nadine easier knots to untie.

Another wrote: “Just me or are those knots not as tight as yesterday? Either way, g’wan Nadine! Bossing it.”

No we haven’t, he’s just rubbish with knots.

A third tweeted: “Nadine’s challenge was so easy compared to Ians yesterday wtf!! Only 3 loose knots when Ian had like 5 tight knots, they were so easy to find whilst Ian had a crocodile and crab covering his and they were inaccessible places?!? SO UNFAIRRRR.” (sic)

One added: “Notice how the knots are not so tight for Nadine to undo, yet last night for Ian Wright they were that tight you needed a safe cracker to undo them.”
